Andrew Goldrick
Andrew is a fully qualified PDHPE teacher and has been teaching children for the past 5 years. He has developed a passion for helping students improve their health and fitness and in particular allowing students to express themselves through physical activity (Football).
This experience has strengthened his coaching ability and given him a vast array of skills to help students achieve their goals and give piece of mind to parents and teachers regarding the safety and wellbeing of their children. He has also been involved with football for 21 years as a player for the likes of Kenthurst FC, Gladesville-Hornsby FC, Northern Spirit FC (where he was club captain) and more recently with Normanhurst Eagles FC both as a player and as a coach.
Andrew spent a total of 6 years at Northern Spirit FC and had the honour of leading the club as ‘Club Captain’ for his final 2 years. As part of his learning & development, Andrew also travelled the UK to train and play against some of the best clubs in the UK including the likes of Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC, Charlton Athletic FC, QPR FC and Wolves FC.
His experience overseas, not only helped him as a player, it gave him the opportunity to gain valuable coaching experience from some of the best academy coaches abroad. Andrew is an accredited coach and has been coaching successfully for the past 3 years at Barker College and in 2011 was appointed ‘Director of Coaching’ for Normanhurst Eagles FC where he’s been coaching for several years at junior level.
Andrew has always had a passion for football, and it’s this driving motivation that has led him into his new role with FFI.
